Roberto Harrison
Roberto Harrison is a Panamanian American poet and artist. He works with the amazing kids at the Indian Community School in Franklin, Wisconsin. His next book is due out from the City Lights Spotlight series in Spring, 2024, and is titled Isthmus to Abya Yala. He lives in Milwaukee with his wife, the poet Brenda Cárdenas, and their dog Maya.

Roberto Harrison is the author of Tropical Lung: exi(s)t(s), due out soon in 2021 from Omnidawn. He was the Milwaukee Poet Laureate for 2017–2019.
Roberto Harrison’s latest book of poetry is Yaviza (Atelos, 2017). He is the Milwaukee Poet Laureate for 2017-2019 and is also a visual artist. He lives in Milwaukee with his wife the poet Brenda Cárdenas.
