For five months now, following the collapse of a train station canopy in Belgrade, Serbs have been protesting against corruption and therefore against the government. On Saturday, March 15, more than 300,000 people took to the streets of Belgrade. This article explores the form of organization adopted by the movement: “plenums”—local, horizontal, autonomous, and self-organized assemblies.
