Ian Bourland

Bourland is a Ph.D candidate in the Dept. of Art History at the University of Chicago.
In 1975, Willoughby Sharp, curator, publisher, writer, artist, and scion of a prominent New York financier, donned a gas mask and shut himself in a bathroom stall to the rear of a Brown University exhibition space.
