Alice Motard

Alice Motard is the Director of the European Centre for Contemporary Artistic Action (CEAAC) in Strasbourg, France. Previously, she was Chief Curator at (CAPC) The Museum of Contemporary Art of Bordeaux (2016–2021) where she curated Takako Saito’s Dreams to Do retrospective.

My first exhibition at the CAPC was about Beau Geste Press, a community of “dupli-cators, printers, and artisans” in Devon, England where, in 1973, Takako Saito was making paper boxes. I contacted her at the end of 2016 to gather her account of this collective art publishing venture.
