Ryan Rose Aceae (they/he) is a Visual Studies doctoral student at UC Irvine. They also make games, comics, and art about transness, some of which can be found at gendervamp.itch.io.
The trap of visibility is that transness is put on display for dissection for a cis audience which gawks at transgender people. TRANSlations confronts this trap head-on.
