Richard Long

Richard Long was born in 1945 in Bristol, England, where he currently lives and works. He participated in the 37th Venice Biennale (1976). He was awarded the Turner prize in 1989. In 2023 he was awarded the Wolf Prize in the Arts.
My outdoor sculptures and walking locations are not subject to possession and ownership. I like the fact that roads and mountains are common, public land.
