Pablo Echaurren
Pablo Echaurren is an Italian artist living in Rome. His exhibition of Duchamp-related works, Du Chap Magnétique: Opere/Works 1977–2017, was held at the Scala Contarini del Bovolo in Venice in 2017, and he is author of Duchamp Politique (2019), wherein he posits that Duchamp’s art contains a powerful political message that has not yet been employed.
I did not know how to place Duchamp and did not dare to ask for explanations on the matter, since he was treated a bit like a relative, a familiar figure, a tutelary deity.
