Michael D. Snediker is the author of Contingent Figure: Chronic Pain & Queer Embodiment (U.Minnesota Press), Queer Optimism: Lyric Personhood & Other Felicitous Persuasions (U.Minnesota Press), The New York Editions (Fordham University Press, Poets Out Loud Prize), and The Apartment of Tragic Appliances (punctum books, Lambda finalist for Best Gay Poetry). He's Professor of American Literature & Poetics at the University of Houston and has been the fortunate recipient of multiple residencies at both Yaddo and the James Merrill House. His next book of poems, Jones Very, is forthcoming from Ornithopter Press.
