Michael Cavuto

Michael Cavuto is a poet living between Durham, NC and New York City. His books include Country Poems (Knife Fork Book, 2020) and Pyre, forthcoming from Spiral Editions in 2025. He is a founding editor of auric press and the Slow Poetry in America Newsletter. 

At the heart of Lucía Hinojosa Gaxiola's The Telaraña Circuit is a poetics of mediumship: of the poet-artist’s role in activating latent potentialities between media for composing new sensorial realities, and of the poet herself as a conduit or resonator of experiential forms that traverse the ordinary temporal and spatial coordinates of the human environment.
