Kirby Olson

is a poet and critic living in upstate New York in the western Catskills. His books include a study of Gregory Corso’s poetry, and a book of poems entitled Christmas at Rockefeller Center.

In light of the everyday choreographies around us, Kirby Olson explores an aleatory street dance with trucks and pedestrians in a poem by Edwin Denby.
