ARKiTEXT,  a special issue of Chicago Review (Vol. 67) focuses on poet/performer julie ezelle patton’s Let it Bee (LIB) Arkhive, a building/land and art stewardship project that has protected and advocated for the work and legacies of Depression Era birthed artists Theresa Ramey, Virgie Patton, Russell Atkins, and others, since the 1980’s.  J Walking thru the Alphabet, an edited selection of ezelle-patton’s concrete, visual, and textual poetics from the 1970s to the near present is forthcoming from Nightboat Books. julie ezelle-patton is a 2015 Foundation for Contemporary Art Poetry Award.
