Andrea Geyer lives and works in New York City. Her creative practice is invested in the material poetics of storytelling, shedding light on individuals and events that share the quality of a sustained absence and an inevitable, tangible presence. Andrea Geyer started to photograph the German woods of her childhood over the recent years. Listening to the trees, the moss, branches, leaves, recounting her first queered feelings as a teenager alongside stolen time with other like–minded seekers.
