The Brooklyn Rail

In 2007 the group that calls itself The Invisible Committee published The Coming Insurrection, which was widely discussed across the range of leftwing media (and Fox News to boot). The Committee has now brought out To Our Friends, published in the United States by Semiotext(e) (and also available at theanarchistlibrary.org). This text will no doubt also be discussed by many of those it addresses as friends; the Rail is contributing to that discussion with two reviews, from differing though complementary perspectives. We have added a short text on political-judicial events in France relevant to understanding both books’ production and reception in that country.
