Scholar McKenzie Wark and writer John Cappetta discuss creative life in the context of our new social reality.

McKenzie Wark (she/her) is a writer and scholar. She is the author of numerous books, including Reverse Cowgirl, Capital is Dead: Is this something worse?, Molecular Red: Theory of the Anthropocene, A Hacker Manifesto, among others. She teaches at the New School for Social Research and Eugene Lang College in New York City.
John Cappetta, is the Social Media Director and a contributor at the Brooklyn Rail. Their writing has also appeared in Civil Eats, Hakai Magazine, Maine the Way, and Sartle.
