A poetry reading curated by Tyhe Cooper to celebrate the closing of Singing in Unison at TOTAH, featuring readings by Rail poetry editor Anselm Berrigan, Ari Lisner, Maia Siegel, and Emma Wippermann, with opening remarks by Phong H. Bui. The reading will be followed by a reception.
Anselm Berrigan

Anselm Berrigan is the poetry editor for the Brooklyn Rail, and author of a number of books of poems, most recently Pregrets, from Black Square Editions.
Maia Siegel

Poet Maia Siegel’s writing is published in Poetry London, The Bennington Review, Rattle, The Saranac Review, and elsewhere.
Ari Lisner

Poet, journalist, and researcher Ari Lisner’s writings capture queer intimacy against the backdrop of New York City. Their work has been featured in The Quarterless Review, Peach, Triangle House, Wonder, GQ, Allure, and others. ONE SCHTICK PONY, their first chapbook, is forthcoming with Bullshit Lit in 2023. Ari is also the co-founder of the poetry press Touch Me New World and the host of the reading series IT’S A SIGN at KGB Bar.
Emma Wippermann

New York based poet Emma Wippermann’s forthcoming book, Joan of Arkansas (Ugly Duckling Presse, March 2023), is a book-length poem about climate catastrophe and divine gender expression. Other work can be found in jubilat, Omniverse, Second Factory, No, Dear, and Oversound, and publications by dispersed holdings and Patient Sounds. She lives in Greenpoint with her girlfriend and two small dogs.
