Super Big News
strophe
for some reason a couple times this year
the super moon appears the evening
tv news hypes this as need for filler
leading up to some real time advertisement—
the inflated rounded out of flattened moon
rises more blown up incorrect an image
than the news feed normally stuffs us with
Neil de Grasse is said to note that
the reason really is the rotation in
its elongated orbit nearest Earth
closeness makes the Moon come off larger
as for that coming up rising into the sky
it too is an illusion we too are in rotation in
the going under what rolls over us.
antistrophe
that up is down and left its own right and —
should surprise us but we knew it from it
not making sense that is our own lives no surprise
hand should we then
turn everything around upside going down
how you want it comfort and and or speed
spill all the pieces off the back horizon back
door as a playing surface always open
to drop away open from under us
both play and surface into landing or not —
that abrupt random uncertainty set
into entropy should print
the one hand on the other some agreement hand
clapping the horizon into thin air off the wall.
epode
that imprimatur’d fingerprint on you
that lets you in to the party concert
whatever’s playing you passed inspection to
at the sacred rope your skirt
of whatever the rule the right length —
no one knows what the rope is tied into
at that moment you show up in front
of the line up to him the rope end of the line
he is the decision of —
you only know the other side once there
is on your side — you cool be so to know which save
you have been through to here to have to behave
to fit in
into— your adapation to as simple as that moon
