Who was Jim Harithas? Jim Harithas was an anomaly. He was outside the box. Thomas Kuhn speaks about two kinds of science: one that is performed inside the box and one that is performed outside the box; radical science is outside the box. He was the same thing, only as in the art world, he was an anomaly. He was outside the box, and nonetheless, he succeeded superbly.

He was a genius managing all of the machinations that swirled around him, partially of his own doing, partially of just encountering the fucking world. I will always be grateful for my relationship with Jim Harithas. I owe him, and a lot of other people owe him as well.
