Suzanne McConnell
Twice nominated for the Pushcart Prize, Suzanne McConnell’s fiction has appeared in the Huffington Post, Provincetown Arts, The Saint Ann’s Review, The Water Stone Review, Bellevue Literary Review and other literary magazines. She taught writing at Hunter College for thirty years, and is the Fiction Editor for the Bellevue Literary Review. McConnell’s profile of Kurt Vonnegut at the Iowa Writers Workshop was published in The Brooklyn Rail and Writer’s Digest. Her book about Kurt Vonnegut’s advice on writing, Pity The Reader: On Writing with Style by Suzanne McConnell and Kurt Vonnegut, was recently leased by Seven Stories Press.
