Stephen S. Howie is a nonfiction writer living in the woods of Maine. His first book, The Bluffton Charge: One Preacher's Struggle for Civil Rights was released in 2000 by Mammoth Books to favorable reviews. He is currently co-authoring a book with Sasha Chermayeff about Andy Warhol's long-time agent, Frederick W. Hughes.

Losing Heart
