Ravi Shankar

Ravi Shankar is poet-in-residence at Central Connecticut State University and the founding editor of the international online journal of the arts, http://www.drunkenboat.com. His first book Instrumentality, published by Cherry Grove in May 2004 http://www.cherry-grove/shankar, was named a finalist for the 2005 Connecticut Book Awards. He is the co-editor, along with Tina Chang and Nathalie Handal, of Contemporary Voice From the East: An Anthology of Poems, published by W.W. Norton in Fall 2007.
