It was supposed to be a lark. My wife and I were in the middle of a busy Friday evening, but The Pumpkin Pie Show: Commencement was supposed to be pretty short. I knew the writer, Clay McLeod Chapman, from a skit show I was periodically working on with the Rapid Response Team.
