He has produced five of my plays, three of them multiple times—most recently The Hill Town Plays ran simultaneously in five downtown theaters this past summer. He is the artistic director and founder of Rattlestick Playwright’s Theater, which has produced over 60 world premieres in the past 17 seasons. Rattlestick is where I learned to be a playwright. We talked on a rehearsal break for his own play, A Fable.
