9/11: Surf’s Up
By Jeff TaylorOn the morning of September 11, 2001 I was on the Belt Parkway, headed out to surf Long Beach. The day was beautiful, clear, and bright with huge swells rolling in thanks to Hurricane Erin down south. The conditions were so perfect any serious surfer had to go, you couldn’t miss an opportunity like this.
