Linda La
Linda La is an international, multidisciplinary SAG-AFTRA performer, teacher, curator, host, model and organizer from the Boogie Down Bronx, New York. Born out of the Iconic House of LaBeija, her experimental spoken word infused musical sound has been articled in both AFROPUNK and The Fader. She is currently working on her first studio project set to include original music and poetry. Her work can be found on all streaming platforms and archived at the Brooklyn Museum in the “Nobody Promised You Tomorrow: Art 50 Years After Stonewall” exhibit. Find out more at Lindala.world.

By Linda LaIt felt so liberating to not have to compromise my joy for sustainability. By March, I had been cast as a feature dancer on Pose and began rehearsals. I found myself in a wardrobe fitting, apprehensive about the shoot seeing how nervous people were to shake hands. Every gig, production, appearance, interview, or public speaking engagement was canceled after that.
