Poetry A Tribute to Lewis Warsh

L.W. I.M.

Let your long locks
fall from your fair face
like some tender shroud,
Brush them away
so I can see
who you really are.
Smarten up
(you were always smart)
make yourself ready
(you were always ready)
and attentive
and kind
and the great rememberer
intimate memoirist, story-teller,
witness, (yes, this all happened),
your grace
now we remember
you, Lewis.
